Martin Quaile

Martin Quaile, local community councillor for Killay, recently welcomed Andrew RT Davies AM, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, to his local area.

Cllr Quaile introduced Andrew to a number of local businesses in Killay and discussed business rates and what more support is needed to help support local shops and residents alike.

Cllr Quaile, who is standing as the Welsh Conservative candidate for Killay South in next month's local government elections, said: "I have met with residents and businesses over the last few months and listened to their thoughts and concerns.

"Following this I am pleased to have been able to get Andrew to visit businesses to discuss matters like business rates and parking further.

"While Killay is one of the few places to have a free car park in Swansea, lots of other areas find people parking in bus stops and along drives.

"More support for parking in and around our communities helps both residents and businesses."
