Craig Lawton, the Welsh Conservative candidate for Mayals ward by-election, has confirmed that his campaign to have an open and accountable Mumbles Community Council is working.

The council's website has been partially updated with agendas and minutes from previous meetings.

Craig said: "I am pleased that they have listened and taken note of my campaign.

"They still have a long way to go however. While some months of 2013 and 2014 have been updated, there are still gaps."

Mr Lawton, who is also Swansea West Conservatives' Chairman, added: "2010 to 2012 are also still absent.

"The council needs to be open and accountable to residents. I will continue to fight for this and to give Mayals a strong voice."
